Especially the ones designed for the dispensers, they make really great slinky's and offer a multitude of ways to distract you. What does that have to do with this blog? Nothing, I just needed a catchy title.
Can I just say the last few months have been crazy? Of course I can, it's my blog. Over the summer I worked for Tim Black doing video production for his summer camp, then immediately after words I started cramming in all my last minute projects for Prescott Life Church before my employment ended there. Now I'm getting all geared up for some freelance and contracted work (speaking of which, hire me).

Of course, during this transition I've had some down time. Last week I was house-sitting for some relatives in Mesa, which finally gave me the opportunity to do some photography in Tempe at Tempe Town Lake, near Arizona State University. I braved the heat and managed to get some great shots. I went two days. The first day I arrived a little late, but got a couple decent sunset shots.
The next day I got there about an hour earlier and decided to stretch myself a bit and not do landscape stuff but rather try some other off-the-wall and close up shots with my 50mm lens. Definitely an enjoyable experience. See some of the best shots on my DeviantART profile, or all the decent shots on my Google+ profile. I would also like to point out that while most places have a High and a Low temperature, this is not the case in the Phoenix area. They just have a High and a Less-Hot.
My biggest project over the next couple weeks is a promotional video for Tim Black to help him promote next years summer camp. This is going to be another motion graphics project and, dare I say (yes, I do), will be my best one yet. Since I'm giving myself plenty of time for this the amount of detail and refinement should give it that extra kick to make it go from 'Awesome' to 'Jaw-Dropping-Awe'. I also have another potential project coming up next month. If I get this job it will be the biggest thing I've ever worked on and will open up so many more possibilities for me.
To wrap up this little update, last week I finally decided to buy the suction cup mount for my GoPro. Of course the first thing I decided to do with it is stick it on my car and drive around. There is so much possibility with this, and I can see myself buying more of them and putting them to some interesting uses.
I'm also going to try and update more often. Maybe not as much content, but perhaps bi-weekly? I'm thinking about putting out some tutorials too, so I'll throw those in here too if I end up doing those.
